About Tom

Specialist physiotherapy, shaped around you.

Tom is a specialist physiotherapist with extensive experience treating a wide range of patients, specialising in the restoration of movement, function and overall physical well-being after injury, illness or surgery. He uses evidence-based treatments including manual therapy, targeted exercise, education and return-to-work or sport advice.

Over the past 15 years Tom has worked with Army and RAF personnel, served as lead physiotherapist in semi-professional football, led the rehabilitation team for firefighters, and gained broad experience across several NHS Trusts. He is now completing his Advanced Professional Practice Master's degree at the University of Plymouth.

Whether you're recovering from injury, managing a chronic condition like arthritis or back pain, or aiming to return to sport with confidence — your treatment plan is tailored to you as an individual, so you leave better informed, stronger and less likely to be sidelined again.

The approach

What is musculoskeletal physiotherapy?

A specialised branch of physiotherapy focused on diagnosing, treating and preventing conditions affecting muscles, bones, joints, tendons and ligaments. By addressing pain, improving mobility, building strength and increasing your understanding, it helps you recover from injury, manage chronic conditions, reduce the risk of re-injury and improve your physical output — whether for sport or everyday life.

Manual therapy

Hands-on techniques to ease pain, restore movement and improve joint and soft-tissue function.

Exercise rehabilitation

Tailored programmes to rebuild strength, flexibility and balance — at your pace.

Education

Clear explanations so you understand your condition and feel confident in your recovery.

Ergonomic & lifestyle advice

Practical guidance to reduce strain at work, home and in sport, and prevent re-injury.
